62- River Rea – Cleobury Mortimer

Brief description of fishery:

Barbless hooks only, all trout to be returned.
This fishery is open to members only during the trout season.
Fly fishing only. No guest tickets.
 Fishing consists of Left bank 1192yds (389yds above the weir by the houses and 767yds below). Right bank 764yds from just below the weir by the houses. Members must not access the bank in front of the mill.
 This is a small tributary of the Teme and consists of a mixture of shallow runs and deeper pools. Some areas are heavily tree lined and others open. More suited to wading. There is a Returns Box to help ascertain the fishery stocks. Please use this even if no fish are caught, as it helps us monitor the health and condition of the river stock.
Main species: Brown trout. Trout season 18th March to 7th October.
Accessibility good.
Key Points: Barbless hooks, all trout and grayling to be returned. Park in designated spaces so as not to cause obstruction. Take care when wading. Fly fishing only. NO guest tickets. No longer any parking on the A4117.
