Brief description of fishery:
The Reed Beds are protected and therefore unauthorised maintenance work is strictly forbidden.
Barbless hooks. No keep-nets. No fish to be retained.
Limited parking is available on the right hand side of the pool and along the dirt road past the pool which MUST BE LEFT CLEAR for farm traffic.
Main species: Most types of carp including large common, mirror, leather and crucian. Plus tench, rudd, perch and eel. Small rudd can be a nuisance. However, there are some specimen rudd and crucians. Warning: the takes by the carp at Turnmill can be very aggressive. Never leave your rods unattended. Accessibility Fair. Key Points: Locked access gate. Keep it locked after entering and leaving. Do not park so as to cause an obstruction. Track can be rough following heavy rain. Carp takes are generally very aggressive. Be sensible with strength of tackle!

Access & Parking
Approximately a third of a mile from the Island at Ombersley (and just over a mile from the Holt Fleet Bridge) off the A4133 Holt fleet Road, look for the 50MPH sign, the entry road is on the left before to it. Proceed along the tarmac road straight to the gate and then down the track past the sub station parking at the pool 1077yd from the gate. The gate lock code will be on your Membership card. OS reference for access road is SO 838636.
