Club Rules
1. The committee elected at the Annual General Meeting will conduct the affairs of the club in accordance with the constitution.
2. The committee is empowered without reason to decline acceptance of any person requesting membership.
3. The committee is empowered to expel any member or members endangering the welfare of the club.
4. Subscription is reviewed annually between 15th March & 14th March. Any member who allows his subscription to lapse for one year will be classed as a new member.
5. Subscriptions may be paid at the Annual General Meeting or by posting a cheque in an A5 self-addressed envelope from the 10th March to the Membership Secretary, 24 Hunters Mews, Fontwell, Arundel, West Sussex BN18 0UW or via our Clubmate on-line system.
6. Age limit will be 16 – 64 years for an adult member, 5 – 15 years for a junior and 65 and over for an OAP member.
7. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult if under the age of 16 years.
8. Specimen fish must be caught from club waters, weighed on club scales, photographed and witnessed by at least one committee member to count as an official club entry. Any British record weighing fish need to be vetted by the British Record Fish Committee, we advise the Angler’s Mail are contacted on either T: 0203 1484160 or 0203 148416 along with at least one committee member to offer the best chance of ratification.
9. Fishing should be conducted in a sportsmanlike manner.
10. Stedham Angling Club committee reserve the right to amend, delete or add to any club rule, match rule or fishery rule to safeguard the welfare of the club.
11. Strictly two rods only to be used at any one time by each angler.
