Brief description of fishery:
The Gall Pond is a traditional estate lake, part of the Tortworth Estate. The lake is formed by a dam and is fed by a small stream. The water level can vary depending on the time of year and is between 10 and 12 feet deep at the dam end and 2 or 3 feet deep at the shallow end. There are plenty of natural weeds with lilies present in all of the swims.
The lake is stocked with natural species including roach, bream, tench, perch, eels and carp.

The lake is just off the B4509. If you come form Junction 14 of the M% and head towards Charfield, the lane is the first right hand turn about 500 yards from the M5 junction. The entrance to the lake is via a padlocked gate on the left after about 500 yards. the gate code is supplied with your membership renewal.
Access & Parking
There is plenty of parking, please do not park in the turning area.
