Roe Green Pond

Brief description of fishery:

Roe Green pond is our specimen water with large carp to 20lbs, bream to 4lbs, and catfish to 25lbs . All other species are of big weights and stocking is only done for large fish. It is situated in a very rural and tranquil surroundings in the village of Roe Green, Worsley. There is a 150-metre walk from the car park to the water. Night fishing is encouraged with excellent catches during dusk to dawn.

Access & Parking

If travelling from Swinton take the A572 Worsley Road towards Worsley. Cross the East Lancs Road (A580) and
continue down Worsley Road for approx 1 mile passing Broadoak Garden Centre on your left.
Turn right on to Greenleach Lane ,after passing through Roe Green village turn left in to Roe Green Cricket Club
car park.Park on the left side of the car park.Follow the pathway on the left handside of the car park along the
fenceline. Enter the path to the water through the locked metal gate .The club key will open the gate.

Night fishing is allowed to a maximum of 10 anglers.
