Brief description of fishery:

This is a typical Mill lodge with 20 pegs available. Some very large bream and carp are readily caught here. As this water is in the premises of Biffa Waste, access is best obtained during the working day . Weekend fishing is available via the security lodge. Secure car parking is available on the site close to the fishery. Night fishing is not allowed.

Access & Parking

From Swinton travel along the East Lancs Road (A580) towards St Helens for approx  9 miles.
Turn right at Atherleigh Way (A579) continue to junction of Wigan Road (A578) turn left onto
Wigan Road. Travel to junction of Smiths Lane/Bickershaw Lane (B5237) turn left onto Bickershaw Lane, and continue along BIckershaw Lane passing H.M.P.Hindley on the right.
The entrance road to the Biffa Waste site is on the left . The car park is immediately on the left after going through
the security lodge.
Follow the fenceline on the left which will take you to the water.
The club key will open the gate.
