Hucklesbrook Lake

Brief description of fishery:

Hucklesbrook Lake is a six acre gravel pit that holds an excellent head of carp to over 30lb and tench into double figures. There is also a large head of silverfish with both roach and perch over 2lb present.

The venue has well established banks and large, cut swims making access very good and the fishing comfortable. The flat path around the water makes the use of a trolley easy. There are many features on the bottom and a large island but don’t ignore the deep, tree-lined margins where many fish patrol. The club owns the lake and, with this in mind, we introduced some additional linears and fully scaled mirrors to bolster the stock in 2017, some of which are already nudging the 20lb mark.

Twelve night tickets are available each night with a 5 on 2 off policy, these are available online or from Ringwood Tackle. All anglers must sign in at the hut in the car park and complete a catch report on leaving, images of recent catches are always displayed within here. There is plenty of parking space and toilet facilities at the venue. An electric gate compliments the wildlife fencing making it very secure.
